- Never share your credit card number.
- Don’t share your password with anyone (unless you’re a kid and then you have to share it with your parents).
- Don’t let anyone else use your phone to text or call anyone because they could send something bad that you did not really say and you will get in trouble for it.
- If anyone finds out your credit card number call the credit card fraud department to stop that person from buying things.
- 2nd thing you do is Close the account that has been tampered with
- 3rd thing to do is File a report to the local police
- 4th and final thing to do is file your complaint to the FTC.
- If you fear a burglary lock all your doors and hide.
- Deter, Detect and Defend.
- Information found online can be used by others to hack your personal information.
- A profile can be harvested(collected) from a website
